Motivating Landlords to invest in energy efficiency

Convincing landlords of the benefits of investing in energy efficiency is notoriously hard. As part of a marketing pilot commissioned by EEPH, Red Earth devised a PR campaign aimed at changing landlord perceptions of energy efficiency.

The campaign focused on the financial and regulatory benefits. National, trade and regional media were targeted, trade associations were approached for media partnerships, speaker slots were sourced, workshops held, case studies written and university students targeted with an energy efficiency checklist. The campaign resulted in extensive national, trade and online coverage, trade assocations covered the story in their newsletters and websites, and numerous conference speaker opportunities were secured.
